Solution

This is a exercise in basic probability. If the events are disjoint, then $\mathrm{Pr}(\text{eat pizza on weekend}) = .7$. On the other hand, if they are nested, then $\mathrm{Pr}(\text{eat pizza on weekend}) = .4$.
